It’s no surprise that the food is so good with chef Tadashi Ono at the helm, who until it shuttered, was the chef at former Japanese hotspot, Matsuri. Here you’ll find hot fired vegetable, fish and meat dishes that will make your mouth water as you see each dish produced. The food is straight up yummy with crowd pleasers you’d expect like sushi and sashimi, but the restaurant’s focal point is the Yakatori Grill. It’s upbeat vibe, with food made for sharing, has made it a quick favorite for the New York fashion crowd. Maison O, despite its French sounding name, is a hot new Japanese restaurant with a jumping Karaoke Bar downstairs.
